Tank Grades
Grading is a common shorthand for condition. Always ask the supplier about a tank's previous contents.
Grade A
Like-new, minimal wear, usually one previous use with a known, non-hazardous product.
Grade B
Good working condition with cosmetic wear. Suited to industrial and agricultural use.
Grade C
Functional, visible wear. Non-food storage, rainwater and similar uses.
New Tanks
Unused containers when you need a bottle with no prior contents.
What Makes Up an IBC Tank
An intermediate bulk container is an inner bottle, usually high-density polyethylene, held in a galvanized steel cage on a pallet base. A top fill opening and a bottom discharge valve make it easy to fill and drain.
The common sizes are 275 gallons (about 1,040 liters) and 330 gallons (about 1,250 liters), both on a footprint of roughly 48" x 40".

What is the difference between grades?
